Red Light Therapy Treatment Questions?
How does red light therapy work?
Well, the short answer is red light therapy helps our cells work better. The longer answer is that does this by absorbing the energy from the red and near-infrared light wavelengths. This effect helps rid the body of nitric oxide in the cells and produce energy in the form of ATP. Have a look at our blog for more information.
Can I get too much red light therapy?
Can I feel red light therapy working?
Great question. We all know everyone is different, but most will feel results in as little as 6 weeks. We suggest recording your experiences with your mental clarity, acuity and sleep patterns.
Start with a simple treatment plan like every morning during the week. Then on weekends take a rest and see the differences in the way you feel.
Is there a difference between IR and NIR?
Red and near-infrared light are both in the natural light spectrum. One main difference is 660nm is absorbed by the skin and the 850nm range is invisible to us but gets absorbed by the cells.
Why aren't some of the bulbs lite up?
The Near Infrared (NIR) bulbs are not in the human eye’s visible wavelength. They are emitting we just can’t see the light.
Do I need eye protection?
No, Solas devices are bright though so we have included some eye wear for free for those who have sensitive eyes.
How do I set up my light?
With every device, we have included a manual for easy set up. However, if you want to check out our helpful page.
